Outstanding and prominent amusement venues and a multitude or trendy and popular restaurants are found here. Main living spaces are Condo towers and High rises and Townhouses. The West End is a blended business and residential area and again is a blend of condos, lofts, and apartment suites. Yaletown is the heritage zone of the city. Like Yaletown, the zone has been redeveloped for residential and some business. Gastown is another legacy region of the city. A few boulevards are still cobblestone. Visitor shops are found close to the prominent Gastown Steam Clock. The territory is blended with low and working class inhabitants living in condos, townhomes, and lofts. Fairview Slopes on the other side of False Creek was the home of Olympic Village and in the past few years has grown very quickly with a number of shops and restaurants along the seawall to Granville Island and Kits beach. Mount Pleasant has a mix of old and new houses, condos, apartment buildings and townhomes with more big box shopping and unique restaurants along the Cambie corridor and Main street.
